Restorative YOGA

This gentle class led by a physical therapist addresses neck & back pain/tightness, and focuses on slow, restorative poses to relieve stress and tension. The perfect way to reset at the end of your day!

Designed for those with little to no yoga experience, this class focuses on basic alignment principles of the most common poses and safe form. You will learn your comfort zone and how to safely expand beyond it.

We will explore yoga breathing and linking movement with breath. There will also be light discussion of the history and general philosophy of yoga and the benefits of practicing it in today’s modern world.

Learn how to improve your balance, posture, strength, and endurance, and mindfulness, while decreasing your risk of falling to complement all lifestyles.

This gentle yoga series is perfect for anyone who is looking to improve their stability. If you have decreased sensation in your feet, vestibular issues, or a history of falls, this series can help equip you with yoga-based practices to incorporate into your daily exercise routine. Must be used to some light activity.

There is an emphasis on standing poses that challenge your balance in a safe environment. Instructor-directed modifications are available when needed.

If you are aging gracefully, injured, stiff and/or sedentary, have chronic pain or ailments, or new to yoga, this gentle yoga class is for you.

Enjoy this slow, focused, methodical yoga class, which is formatted for stress relief, those with limited mobility, injures, and the new yoga participant. This class will help you improve posture, flexibility, and mental clarity. It will also help decrease stress and alleviate chronic pain.
