Common dysfunctions and physical therapy treatment options for incontinence, pro lapse, post-partum, pelvic muscle weakness, and pelvic pain syndromes, post surgical conditions.

How to correctly perform basic exercises to improve pelvic floor strength/stability.

Basic anatomy and function of the pelvic floor.

Improving and understanding the necessity of core strength.

Our newest class teaches patients how to respond to their pain and to learn to listen carefully to the signals of their bodies.

How can we use pain for introspection and contemplation to learn more about the signals of the body and develop a different relationship with the body and its language?

In this group class we will offer a combination of breathing and relaxation practices with simple opening and movement exercises and education plus offer support and sharing personal stories and processes for transforming your pain.

Learn the basic principles of meditation technique.

Scientifically proven methods of learning how to release deeply held tension patterns in the physical body to reduce muscle tension, fight, flight, and freeze responses, circulation, mental alertness, emotional balance, endurance, oxygenation in the tissue access to the slower brainwaves inducing a sense of balance and peacefulness.

Utilizing the inner map of the Enneagram, learn how to relax your type structure for increased awareness through somatic awareness practices.

Increase strength and flexibility while working your entire body.

Build core strength, gain postural awareness, and improve coordination, posture, and balance.

Some of the Pilates equipment that may be used in class could be reformers, barrels, chairs, arcs, cadillacs and oovs.

This class is taught by licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants who are Certified Pilate Instructors.
